It's been a long weekend, but all in all we survived. Jeff sweetly attempted to take both kids camping at the beach with his family. He lasted for Friday night and came back Saturday. At least I was able to clean the whole house before they came home. Sunday evening we had dinner with our friends the Hansens to celebrate Joe's birthday. Today I took the kids to the zoo with my parents and the Hansens (minus Joe- who stayed home with Jeff to finish project chicken coop). It's been a pretty wild weekend with lots of rain. The zoo was great (even if there was no power). Here are a few pics. We hope all of you had a nice relaxing weekend.
We are grateful for all of the men and women who have served and continue to serve in the many branches of the military.

Typical Dad being "one with the animals". Looks like everyone had fun. Jeff probably had the most fun :) Miss you!
